I love all things real estate! Old homes, interior decorating, striking architecture, home renovation, and home making have always inspired me. Nine years ago, I was seeking a new venture that allowed me the flexibility to be a mom and leveraged my marketing background and network. So, I decided to turn an interest into a career and my timing was perfect. The DC real estate market was beginning to explode as new neighborhoods, cool condos, and a revitalized downtown began to attract residents from the burbs and beyond.
My original motivation to acquire a real estate license was to service my interest in purchasing real estate for investment purposes. Jason and I had fun (despite nearly killing each other) buying and renovating a few homes (including our own home, a former church) and developing condominiums. I began selling residential real estate with Long and Foster Real Estate Inc. in 2001 – and recently rejoined them after several years with Sotheby’s International Realty. Long and Foster enjoys dominant market share in the region across all price categories and I met several talented agents with whom I decided to form a real estate team. Business has been consistent despite the economy (knock on wood!). I have met many people who started out as clients and have become close friends
I would appreciate the opportunity to assist you with buying or selling a home in DC, Maryland or Virginia!
